Signy holds a BSc in Cell Biology and Anatomy from McGill University, Masters of Public Health from Columbia University, and most recently an MBA from the University of Toronto’s Rotman School of Management.
Lawrence currently manages workplace programming for the Canadian Mental Health Association, Ontario. As part of his role, he regularly liaises with regulators and governments in order to speak on and about mental health in the workplace and the identification of psychosocial risk factors present in the environment. He attended graduate studies at the University of New Brunswick, looking at the experiences of immigrant newcomers and the effects that trauma has on integration. In addition to his role with CMHA, Lawrence has spent eleven years in the Canadian Armed Forces in both Ontario and New Brunswick serving as an Infantry Officer, most recently as Officer Commanding D Company, 48th Highlanders of Canada – a light infantry unit in Toronto. He is currently seconded as a candidate of the Command and Staff College.
Julie Sabine heads up marketing and clinical services for Inkblot Technologies Inc. She has been an integral part of the
team since inception, providing marketing expertise in the context of mental health and using her psychotherapy background to work with Inkblot's practitioners. Julie is passionate about revolutionizing mental health care and is very aware of the unique and evolving needs of Canadians. She has the knowledge and experience to be
sensitive to, yet innovative around, the stigma and issues that surround mental health and has focused
her career on helping others through counselling and communications. Julie has a Bachelor degree
specializing in Psychology from McGill University and a Master degree specializing in Counselling from
the Australian College of Applied Psychology.
David Schacter is a leading innovator in healthcare technology with a passion for helping patients overcome barriers to care through thoughtful human-centered design. As the Director of Health Innovation at Dialogue, the leading telehealth provider in Canada, David heads the development of all new products and services and oversees their mental health program. Before Dialogue, David was Chief Operating Officer at Jintronix where he led the development of the first motion-capture based rehabilitation system in the world to be cleared by the FDA. David was also previously a management consultant with the Boston Consulting Group, and an engineer with Autoliv Electronics. David received his Bachelor’s and Master’s degrees in engineering from the University of Toronto.
